About
Meet Alex

Why I do this
My favourite moments aren’t the heavy lifts
They’re when someone walks in smiling and says, “Alex, I really didn’t feel like coming today, but I’m so glad I did.”
Or, “I feel so much steadier on my feet.”
Or, “I’ve got so much more energy.”
Those moments might seem small. To me they’re everything, because they tell me we’re not just building stronger bodies. We’re helping women get their confidence back, and enjoy their lives again.
Why I train women over 40
Why I train women over 40
Because this is the stage where your body deserves a different approach.
You’re told to lift heavy, and you probably should. But nobody explains where to start when you’ve got aches and pains or you haven’t trained in years. So you either push too hard and pay for it, or you never quite begin.
I don’t believe women need less from exercise as they get older. I believe they need coaching that’s more thoughtful, more supportive, and built around the body they’re in today.
That’s where Fire & Flow was born.
I wanted to create more than a personal training business. I wanted to create a space where women could reconnect with themselves through movement.
A place where building strength is just as important as slowing down, listening to your body, moving with intention, and learning to trust what it’s telling you.
A place where we don’t just train the body. We help you reconnect with yourself, build self-trust, and create sustainable habits that support your life.
Because when movement becomes something you enjoy, rather than something you have to do, it becomes part of your life.
My role isn’t just to write you a program. It’s to help you build a relationship with movement that lasts.
How I coach
What matters to me

Treating you as a whole person
Your body, your mind, how you’re feeling, and everything you’ve been through to get here.
I don’t fix people, I equip them
You should leave every session knowing a bit more about your own body and what it can do.
Strength and softness can exist together
Strength doesn’t have to be punishing, and going gently isn’t the same as going soft. Every session has both.
Life wins
More than what happens in the gym
Getting stronger matters. But I don’t measure strength by the weights you lift. I measure it by the moments you almost forget to celebrate.
The first time you carry all the shopping without asking for help. The walk that suddenly feels easier. The holiday you enjoy without worrying whether your body will keep up. The confidence to say “yes, I’ll come” instead of “maybe next time.”
I call these Life Wins, and they’re built one session at a time, not in one big breakthrough.
If you’d like to talk
Fifteen minutes on the phone, no pressure. You tell me what’s going on, I answer your questions, and we work out whether I’m the right person for you.
